There are literally thousands of videos on various video cites of people outraged about the cameras and microphones they found in their cable boxes.
This was an idea proposed by Comcast, and then quickly backtracked when it received public outrage. But only because they felt "public isn't ready yet". More conditioning is clearly needed to woo the public into allowing cameras and microphones right into their livingrooms and bedrooms.
Please stop cable companies from moving forward on this issue. We The People don't want to be spied on.
