Stop allowing employers to discriminate against a citizens criminal history, when not relevant to the job itself.

As a country we are incarcerating more people than every other country combined. We as a nation need crime to decrease, and we want it too, yet when we release a criminal from prison, we make it much harder for that individual to become successful and be a law abiding tax payer. We allow employers to legally discriminate against US citizens with a criminal past, even when the job description has no relevance to the Citizens past crime, for which he or she has served their time. It is time we stop deterring ex offenders from becoming a productive member of their community, and society as a whole.
