While this website allowing people to address major issues to the administration, it has also become a polling place for idiots to add endless, pointless petitions.
First, we had to deal with the secession nonsense which first made people aware of this site. Since then, it's just more and more nonsense. Examples: deporting Piers Morgan, curing cancer (while noble, a petition to the white house isn't going to cure cancer), making December 24th a national holiday, Anna Wintour, the "war on Christmas", legalizing moonshine...
The poor grammar and spelling in many of these stupid petitions are bad enough, but then I turn on the major 24-hour news stations and they keep reporting on these things! I petition that the White House have a "sanity checker" for this site.
