We should no longer allow foreign nationals to buy homes in our country. In order to buy a home in America, you should have to be a U.S. or Naturalized citizen. Housing prices along the west coast are being driven beyond an affordable price by foreign investors. The middle-class is stretching further and further to be able to buy a home, paying up to eight times the amount of their annual salary, in order to compete with foreigners. In New Zealand foreigners can only lease land, not own it. In China, as a foreigner, you need to have worked or lived in China for at least a year. Why in our country do we not restrict this? The Chinese are the top overseas purchasers of homes in the United States. Foreigners are buying our agricultural land, and we are doing nothing about it!!! Please fix it!
