It is or should be illegal to put a bounty on someone that was found innocent or acquitted by a jury of his/her peers. It should also be illegal for news outlets to broadcast something like this around the country. The New Black Panthers, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are basically saying that regardless of what the jury decided, they want revenge. They should be held accountable for their actions and what they promote. It is not right regardless of skin color for someone or some group to put a dead or alive bounty on a person. If this is allowed, what do we need a DOJ, police, FBI, etc. for? What about having the New Black Panthers try to curb the violence in Chicago by stopping and assisting in black on black or gang violence?
