The Federal government is mandated by legislature elected by the citizenry and not individual petitions.
Obviously someone reviews these petitions. Eliminating this non-sense of petitioning the Federal government will save taxpayer money by allowing them to do something more beneficial like perhaps finding ways to cut spending.
If noone actually reviews these, then eliminating this will stop wasting peoples time.
