Stop allowing private companies to discriminate against responsible marijuana users.

Created by D.P. on March 11, 2015

The laws we have in place concerning marijuana and it's illegality has allowed for a culture of discrimination. The definition of discrimination is any action that denies social participation or human rights to categories of people based on prejudice. This includes treatment of an individual or group based on their actual or perceived membership in a certain group or social category, "in a way that is worse than the way people are usually treated". Marijuana consumers are systematically jobs based solely on the false notion that marijuana is a dangerous schedule I drug. These notions are not based on sound science or reason. All we ask is to be treated the same as consumers of alcohol. We are responsible adults and our choice is to smoke marijuana after work. Our choice isn't drinking.
