Stop allowing regulatory agencies to employ and be lead by former executives of the companies which they regulate.

Created by A.R. on January 01, 2013

The FDA, USDA, and EPA are littered with former employees of the companies that they regulate. Often the very people involved in the creation of a chemical, seed, or pesticide go on to one of these agencies and approve them. One example is rBST; Margaret Miller, Michael Taylor, and Suzanne Sechen, all worked for Monsanto at the time of it's creation and then were part of the approval process. Clearly a conflict of interests.
