Stop allowing Russia coal giant Mechel to blow up WV mountains, making our citizens health suffer from the toxic fallout

5 million pounds of explosives are used on the average per DAY in WV and KY to blow up entire mountains to expose thin seams of coal to export to China, Russia, and other foreign countries. This explosive force is equivalent to more than 4000 cruise missiles. This endeavor is called Mountaintop Removal. Research scientists have shown that people living beneath and near this "sell out" are becoming increasingly sick and dying from elevated rates of cancer. Birth defects have nearly tripled during the past 15 years as MTR has become more pervasive. Scientists have confirmed that the air people are breathing in places where MTR exists is contaminated with ultra fines of silica dust and PAH toxins. Our President is sworn to protect our American citizens. Tell him to put a stop to MTR.
