This is a cruel disease. All any of us want to do is to grow old gracefully with our minds intact. We want to be able to have the dignity of caring for ourselves and not being dependent on others for our basic needs. This disease robs us of any hope of that. And it is starting to rob more and more of us even earlier in life with early onset alzheimer's My sister is diagnosed at age 61. There are people as young as 40 and 50 getting this disease now. Right when my sister has raised her children and worked all her entire life for a good retirement. She wonders what was the point. Please find a cure and stop this cruel disease now.
