According to Google engineer Ray Kurzweil and many others in the field of robotics and AI, in year 2029, humans would have the ability to build computers that are more intelligent than that of humans. By the year 2045, we would contain the ability to "upload" our brains into a computer and thus become immortal. This is known as the singularity. By then, humans will become obsolete and become overruled by advanced AI that we cannot stop.
Mr. President, we the people are not anti-technology, however we believe that if the singularity were to come, it would be the end of humanity. Is it not fair to give our children a right to live life as that of their parents? To live in freedom? To work or have a family?
We the people ask that the government become involve in the banning of advanced AI.
