My reason for this petition is to address the high increase of costs for higher education. It is wrong and unfair that the students tuition costs goes up every year. There should be a limit to how much the public colleges and universities administrations should be able to raise on tuition. Students already have a lot to pay for including housing, school supples, transportation, food, classes and more. Why is it that students have to pay and make up for their faculties low wages? If anything, our schools should be making it easier for students by lowering the tuition costs. Where does all the students money really go? Well, it goes to faculty, to programs that rarely have use at times, to athletics and construction. Why not use this money to open more classes and encourage graduation?
