We believe that experiments on animals are barbaric and inhumane and request our President and the NIH to withhold taxpayer funding to any university who continues to engage in these horrific acts. Animals are intelligent, feeling, thinking beings who deserve to live their lives on their terms, not ours. They deserve our kindness and compassion and should not to be used like inanimate objects in someone's laboratory. History will look unkindly to this time when humans put profit and other self-serving interests above the lives of animals with which we share the planet.
