Many animal control agencies & shelters do exactly what they please. They are out of control! When they break the law, other agencies that are supposed to police them, close their eyes to the illegalities.
In Shawnee, Ok, the sheriff broke the laws. He euthanized hundreds of pit bulls, even though the Supreme Court said it was illegal. Puppies were killed prior to 16 weeks, via gas.This is against their state laws.
This occurs in many states, nationwide. Officers that are sworn to protect animals, instead, delight in their murder. They know they can get away with it!
Make it a FELONY & a FEDERAL crime for those in these positions. Create an overseer that will actually go after them, legally. Hold them accountable for their crimes, like you hold the rest of the American public.
