Every year in America, over 50 million animals are tortured and killed in laboratories in the name of medical "research" and product "testing". These hapless creatures are subjected to unbelievable cruelty - toxic injections, exposure to burning chemicals, acids, inhalants, & painful lethal injections. True science makes no allowance for torture and fraud. Many medical authorities have already denounced the "science" of animal testing practices yet most research labs show little or no inclination to change their medieval practices. Existing agencies are unable to adequately monitor the treatment of these animals, & the animal welfare legislation already in place is too unsubstantial to bring researchers to accountability. This cruelty needs to end.
