A proposal sponsored by Senators Richard Codey and Robert Gordon (S.2497) wants to ban all magazines in the state of New Jersey that exceed 5 rounds and guns that accept more than 5 rounds. This makes even revolvers and most pump action shotguns, and lever action rifles illegal. This is an obvious way of undermining the Constitution. It is a blatant attack on our Second Ammentment rights. If this passes thousands if not millions of law abiding NJ residents will become criminals. We will not stand for this unconstitutional, tyrannical attempt to punish law abiding citizens while the true gun problem in NJ will not be affected as they do not buy their guns legally.
