In July 2014, the US signed an agreement with Qatar to sell them $11 billion of arms, including Patriot Missiles and Apache air helicopters. While buying weapons from the Americans with its oil wealth, Qatar is supporting the terrorist group Hamas with money, arms, and international support. During Operation Protective Edge, the Qataris hosted Khaled Mashal, the leader of Hamas, and even at one point hosted a Taliban embassy. Both these groups have been designated as terrorists by the United States and many other countries worldwide. It is imperative that our government STOP SUPPORTING QATARI TERRORISM. We have to show them that having money from oil does not give them the right to support terrorism worldwide, and the first step is to stop selling them weapons.
