U.S. law allows citizens the right to self defense in cases where their life is being threatened. States are permitted to have laws that are subordinate or superior to US law. The Florida state "stand your ground' law is superior to the US law, in that it's populace stands to gain from it's superior law. The Florida law, like those in about two dozen other states, allows the person in question to gain more from the state laws, over the US law, when it comes to a question of their life. Florida "stand your ground" law says you don't have to retreat from a life threatening confrontation, allowing you to defend yourself without the threat of persecution for doing so. DO NOT ALLOW Eric Holder the opportunity to attack your states laws that supersede US law and overstep it's boundaries!
