The war is over so lets support our returning troops. Cut the size of the active/reserve/guard force, cut Tricare, cut retirement pay and benefits, cut the commissaries. Lets keep the toys. Now we will help those military personnel by hire a vet programs, but where are these jobs coming from? and what are they paying? The companies will be given credits for hiring a vet. Free medical for life is gone replaced by Tricare and the price is rising. If you can still work when you retire lets take some money back.When I retired in 1995,my income was $998 per month to support a family of 4. The commissaries helps us to survive. Safeway/Giant/Walmart do not match for value. You cut subsidies to us but give breaks to corporations, give millions to other countries.
