The Confederate Flag is Actually "The Battle Flag of Northern Virginia"
Look at the flag,
The X is formed by big blue bands which are outlined with white trim.
ON the X are 13 White stars , Representing the 13 Original Colonies From Which the United States Began. Each Colony had its own system of Self Government until northern aggression when the northern states began trying to take authority over the southern states.
THE 13 stars on the flag appear to lie ON the blue X BUT the X lies ON the stars allowing them to shine through. The stars are laid out in an X and the Blue bands are put ON the stars to show that the Southern States No Longer Wanted To Be Apart Of The Union!!
