To stop the Ban on the Confederate Stars and Bars Flag, as it is a Battle Flag of a Dead nation.

The Stars and Bars or better known as the confederate flag is currently being petitioned by many states to get rid of it, once and for all, I however believe that since it served no purpose other than being flown when in battles during the Civil war it is a piece of history and should remain. Now many of you may argue that the flag is racist or has racial backgrounds back to slavery, well the civil war wasn't fought over slavery, it was fought for states rights, but did not' become about slavery until Lincoln said the slaves in the southern states were released with the Emancipation Proclamation, Now if this flag is removed due to "Racism" then all other flags with racist backgrounds should be removed, like the american flags, england, france, spain, and many African countries flags.
