Are you aware many states are trying to pass a ban on all exotic animals? It may not have gotten to your state BUT it will.
Tennessee has SB3892 and HB3487. This will ban any purchase of a small primate (larger primates are all ready banned), as well as many restrictions on current primate ownership. This is just the start.... First Primates, next sugar gliders and hamsters.
What is listed as an exotic?? Anything other than an dog or cat.
Birds, hamsters, pigs, chinchillas etc.
