Sikhs wear turbans as a strict part of their faith and can not be without one. Currently Sikh youth who wish to serve our great country have to choose between practicing their faith or cutting their hair and losing their turbans.
Sikhs have served the US and European forces ever since WWI WITH their turbans on, why can't they now? We've fought so hard to let gay Americans serve openly and with pride, why not Sikhs who have centuries worth of history defending the nations they call home.
