Bayer, the pharmaceutical giant which earned $47 billion in 2015 alone, recently acquired Monsanto, which owns 90% of the GMO seed market. This acquisition would essentially merge Big-Pharma and Big-Agra into one global titan, which would rake in over $100 billion dollars a year.
If this merger takes place, we will have not have seen a more powerful monopoly since the Carnegie Steel Company.
Please take action to stop this from happening. We cannot afford to have one titan of industry control all of our health by owning the agricultural and the pharmaceutical market.
