At the end of February of 2014 a bill was put through the Senate by Veterans' Affairs Committee Chairman Bernie Sanders that would have provided $21 billion for medical, education, and job-training benefits for America's veterans. This bill would have helped with the claim backlog.
People are seeing the problems with the VA in the news finding out many veterans died while waiting for care. It is not fair that the Congressmen can continue to halt, hinder, or vote down legislation expanding benefits for our veterans while these same Congressmen enjoy the best government benefits.
They talk about placing sanctions on other countries that don't cooperate with the US. Well we need to place sanctions on Congress. No benefits for you until the veterans get their benefits.
