When Northwest Airlines and Delta merged in 2009, our dreams of retiring came crashing down! My husband and I worked there for 20 years and dedicated our lives to them and they threw us away like garbage. In our 40's we had to start all over with new careers which wasn't easy. We filed a grievance but Delta, who thinks their God, didn't show up to 2 arbitration hearings. They just paid the court fees and are hiding from us until Someone does something about it. Our union supposedly has been trying to negotiate with them but it's been almost 5 years and no answer. Delta forced retirement on us which we found out is illegal but they still did it and can get away with it. Who or what can make them listen to us?!?
