Stop big oil companies to stop cheating the middle class out of money.

Created by S.B. on May 19, 2013

Gas prices are too high and it is hurting economic recovery and middle class growth. The United States of America is the largest producer of oil in the world. There is no logical reason for gas prices to be at 4 dollars a gallon, let alone rise a dollar in a week. Gas prices should be based on supply and demand. Not what day of the week it is or how close it is to a holiday, or what is going on in the Middle East. Middle and lower class families cannot afford to be paying nearly fifty dollars every one to two weeks to get to work. Therefore something should be done to make sure gas prices lowered to a reasonable price.
