Climate Change is real and endangering our oceans with further oil exploration using sonic cannons will not only harm millions of underwater creatures, but will ultimately endanger our coast lines and property values. The use of these sonic cannons doesn't accurately determine where oil is, but only where it "might" be located. Fisheries, beaches, coastal preserves and American residents along the entire east coast will all be affected if this is allowed to continue without intervention. Research has already proven this type of method is extremely harmful to underwater life. Research has also already proven that if we continue to explore and extract oil from the earth, we will experience more extreme weather events, pollution and human health concerns.
