Gays, African Americans, Hispanics and Women have all been been the target of hate speech in recent years. This speech has been used to create a combative atmosphere in which politicians and people from the Professional Grievance Industry have attempted take away our freedoms--our rights to control our own bodies, who we fall in love with, what religion we practice, our right to vote.
Whether they are making public forms of racism acceptable again, revisiting issues of contraception or defending the bigotry of Duck Dynasty, their voices are loud and growing louder. We cannot sit silently and let them control these debates. We cannot let them continue exploiting the bible and our constitution to make their case.
We are Americans too! We also have the freedom to let our voices be heard.
