Stop Blaming Guns and Start focusing more on Funding/Research to help the mentally ill to prevent such tragedies.

Banning guns is not the answer. The solution to our problem starts with the biggest factor in many American tragedies, Which is Mental Health. There is almost no help for the mentally ill. We focus all our Government money on less important tasks. If we really care about our children, then lets get them help at a young age before they take a turn for the worse. Nothing is harder than having to deal with a family member who is stricken with a mental illness, especially in america, where it is looked at as a disease, and no one understands it. If we focus more of our time and effort into this illness we will see a dramatic change. I believe we should create a Government Agency to oversee mental illness funding and research. Help families that don't know what to do. Help people who feel lost.
