Stop blaming our teachers for our youth's faltering grades.

Created by H.W. on February 12, 2013

Currently, when we think about the American student, we think about faltering grades, and unmotivated students. As a student, I see every day that kids are not motivated to work. Also, I see teachers trying to get everyone to pay attention, but the kids just wont. I propose that our government reevaluate our current curriculum, and focus the way we teach math, or english, or science on real world examples. Also, I propose that we provide more technology for our students, bringing more people into the information age. This doesn't mean giving each student a computer, but providing more students with the software and resources to explore their studies on their own. As a student, I've seen kids who want to learn more, but just cant, for they don't have the resources to do so.
