According to The Guardian ( http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/jun/06/nsa-phone-records-verizon-co... ):
The NSA is collecting phone data on tens of millions of US citizens, in the latest disregard of the privacy and rights as US citizens.
These NSA requests to companies bar the companies who receive these requests from acknowledging the existence of these requests.
Information is being gathered on everyone, not because of an ongoing investigation, but because the US government wants information on all citizens.
Information gathered from these NSA requests:
1. The numbers of both parties of a call
2. Location data (where you were when on the call)
3. Time and Call duration
4. Unique Identifiers
The law-abiding people of the US don't want to be spied on by BIG GOVERNMENT!
