Stop blowing up mountains so we can live in cheap luxory, and start using solar and wind power.

A large amount of our power comes from blowing up mountains, formaly known as mountaintop removal. Doing this is a huge mistake, because (for obvious reasons) it destroys the environment AND the local economy. When all of the mountains in an area are destroyed, the coal company has to move to survive, but it isn't paying for transportation for its workers, it's just going to hire now ones. So these companies leave in its wake worthless land with almost no eco-system and entire communities jobless. I say the only answer to this is to make mountaintop removal illegal and focus our current resouces on solar and wind power so that we can have almost free power while leaving the environment and economy intact.
