The Boy Scouts of America, an extremely large and influential organization, exclude homosexual members and Scout leaders based on the premise that, "a Scout is clean."
Not only does this discrimination exclude the fact that a Scout is "kind and reverent" but is a violation of the Fourteenth Amendement Equal Protection Clause. This country was founded on the premise that all men were created equal, and to allow the Boy Scouts to exclude children from an organization that claims moral guidance and character building is simply offensive.
