"We the people" is becoming the biggest joke in the United States. Your opinion doesn't matter to anyone in the house or senate. All that matters is cold hard cash. If you have enough of it, you can easily "persuade" members of the house and sponsors to change their minds. This is bribery. Bills should be passed based on what the majority of the people want not just a couple with a large amount of money. This happens all the time in the government. Just check out this article:

Last time I checked this was illegal. These people should be thrown in jail or at least forced to resign. Anything they pass should be voted upon by the citizens.
