This petition is near and dear because as a child I was bullied, and its not all fun and games when people pick on you because your different or you don't fit the "status quo." We as Americans have a responsibility as leaders, parents, teachers, and authorities to ensure that our children are safe, and I also believe that in this matter the one doing the bullying should be punished, whether the victim took its life or not, the bully should have some type of punishment to let them know hey this is wrong you shouldn't make fun of people because of whatever reason.
