It still amazes me that KIDS are still being bullied. KIDS!! Bullying causes permanent mental damage and causes kids to not focus on being good citizens. Bullying causes kids to grab weapons and kill!! Bullying causes kids to commit suicide! Bullying causes kids to not focus on their school work and negatively affects their grades. I could go on-and-on about the negative effects, but the three I listed are the most important.
Form a teacher's coalition for bullying by gathering educators who are interested in this subject matter and I'm POSITIVE they would come up with a severe enough punishment that fits the crime.
I feel that by having severe punishment and control mechanisms in place it would make "bully's" think twice about what they do. Enough is enough! End bullying NOW!!
