Stop companies from using a potential employee's credit report to deny them jobs. Currently if they do credit checks when they run background checks they can use the credit check to deny a person a job. I don't believe that a credit check is a reasonable excuse to deny a person employment. Credit checks only state that a person is behind or in default on a bill. It does not provide the reason a person my be behind. It does not indicate that the person is in any way a criminal but that is the implications that are derived. If a person has bad credit they are a poor choice for a job. So don't hire them that is the message we currently receive for this. This was never a business practice before and I don't believe it should be now.
