Many Americans have lost or left their jobs due to hardships over the course of the past few years. However, during those hardships, it's often difficult to pay their bills. When trying to find employment, as credit checks are often used to weed through applicants, many who are trying to get back on their feet are denied employment because of their credit report.
Those people aren't looking for a hand out. They're not criminals. They simply fell on hard times and are trying to get their heads back above water to pay their bills, get out of debt, and move forward.
Please stop allowing corporations to use credit checks as a form of eliminating job applicants!
