The validity of the results of the presidential elections held in Venezuela this past April 14th have been brought into question by many international organizations and governments.
Since the Chavista regime has intervened almost every single public institution, including the judicial system and the national assembly, it cannot be possible to carry out fair and impartial elections; an obvious conflict of interest exists.
Foreign policy experts agree that Venezuela is a de-stabilizing force for latin america, and the only way to stop them is to cut off their main source of revenue: oil.
I therefore urge the Obama Administration to embargo all oil products from Venezuela, until the validity of its presidential elections can be demonstrated to the international community.
