Stop the cable providers anit-trust/competitive Tying practices. AKA support ala-cart

Created by J.E. on April 09, 2013

All of the cable/satellite providers are Tying the channels into bundles where consumers must purchase channels that they do not want in order to be able to purchase channels that they do want.

One example is the most expensive group of channels is ESPN, which is a group I never watch. But yet I am forced to pay for them in order to watch news networks or movie channels.

Another example would be channels for children that older adults must pay for when they have no children that would be viewing those channels.

I petition to either have the justice department initiate legal action against the providers to end the tying requirement, or for the administration to work on the passage of a low to end this practice and allow consumers to be able to purchase just the channels they want.
