I oppose the proposed California's Senate Constitutional Amendment 5 (SCA 5) that would reinstate affirmative action in public universities. This amendment will allow Universities in California to admit students based on race rather than their academic merits. The result will be poor quality of college graduates who are ill prepared to enter the workforce that demands high skills.
