When Benjamin Franklin exited the constitutional convention a woman asked him what have you given us. His response was "a republic mam if you can keep it".
This country is a Republic and not Democracy, we are based upon the rule of law. To hear our President repeatedly get it wrong is an embarrassment to the office.
Our President must lead by example and that includes getting our political process correct. We ask him to admit his misunderstanding and in the future to use the correct term.
