When you hear the word 'Alien', the first thing coming to your mind is a big bald head, with bulging eyes and green skin; or possible the disgusting creature from the famous 1979 movie. But, this is the official term for the US government to categorize all immigrants.
I feel discriminated being called "Alien'. I am a hard working human being, paying taxes, like many other American citizens, contributing to this great nation.
President Obama's father came from another country. I don't think he should or would address his father as 'Alien'. All Americans, their ancestors were immigrants, and I don't agree 'Alien' as a respectful term to call them.
As US being a great country welcoming immigration, I think now is the time to replace this obsolete and derogatory term "Alien".
