Stop calling Social Security and Medicare entitlements. We paid the required taxes. It should be considered an agreement

Social Security and Medicare are taxed through payroll deductions. We were never asked to participate, it just happens. In addition, as a Medicare recipient, I am paying a $99 a month premium. These should not be considered entitlements. They are agreements between our government and those paying the required taxes.
