Any law that is passed and challenged on the Supreme Court level should be investigated for intent of the law to stop the using of office and tax monies from being used to knowingly campaign by the passage of unconstitutional laws. As correspondence from elected officials in their capacity as law makers is public domain it should be subpoenaed and investigated to determine weather the expense of the passage and litigation of the law falls into the field of a work related law or weather the law was passed in attempt to garner political favor in opposition to a Supreme Court ruling. If it is proven the elected officials reason for the law was not to effect change but to pander for votes all expenses incurred should be that of the elected officials.
