Stop catering to the ignorance of the Turkish government and acknowledge the Armenian Genocide as a genocide.

Created by N.Z. on April 24, 2014

The Armenian Genocide was a premeditated, act of terror committed by the Turkish government with the goal of exterminating Armenian populations in the Ottoman Empire during WWI. Turkey has up to this day been a firm denier of the genocide and has implemented excessive propaganda both in Turkey and around the world in order to continue to cover up this heinous crime. Unfortunately, President Obama refuses to refer to the genocide as "genocide" out of fear of inflaming relations with Turkey. It is essential that this genocide is acknowledged and discussed in our government and around the United States. Genocide and other such acts of terrors will repeat themselves if they are forgotten and overlooked especially in the name of a political agenda.
