Stop celebrating Columbus Day because it is the celebration of Christopher Columbus who killed millions of Native Americans. He cheated thousands of Native Americans and made them pay him gold for useless trinkets. In his logs, he made fun of them for being docile and friendly. He also wasn't the first person in the Americas even though many people believe so. The Native Americans were here thousands of years before Columbus was even born. Some people might say that he was the first European to come to the Americas. In fact, Leif Ericson actually came here 500 years before Columbus did.
