Solitary confinement is a space about the size of 4' x 10' where a person can not extend their arms fully to both sides. It's about the size of a parking space and includes a bed, toilet and shelf
When two people are confined to such a smal space there is about a foot and a half between them while standing.
This leads to mental insanity in some cases and murder in others.
It's incredibly inhumane and torture.
