All major cell providers force anyone using a smartphone to pay for a data plan regardless of if they use it or want it. With smaller data allpwances, increasing data rates, lower quality service, and increased Wi-Fi availability, many users are seeking freedom from this Draconian policy. We ask the Obama administration and the FCC to step in and put an end to forcing plans on consumers who want to use their devices how they want without being penalized for it.
